What you check

Every piece of fire equipment in its place

Extinguishers

A tag next to every extinguisher: presence, accessibility, pressure gauge and seal, with a photo if something doesn't look right.

Fire doors

Closing, panic bars, seals and signage of fire-rated doors, checked on every round.

Hydrants and hose reels

Cabinets, nozzles and hoses always accessible, with their condition noted point by point.

Emergency lighting

Lamps and illuminated signs along the routes, with reports of the units to be replaced.

Escape routes and exits

Clear routes, unobstructed emergency exits and legible signage.

Plant rooms

Control panels, switchboards and pump rooms, even in basements with no signal.

How it works

From patrol to report, paper-free

  1. 01

    A tag at every point

Fit NFC tags next to extinguishers, doors and hydrants and link them to the site's zones.

  2. 02

    Checks with your own questions

For each type of check you choose the questions, for example “Gauge in the green?”, “Seal intact?”: staff answer them in the app in the zone they're in, with a photo if needed.

  3. 03

    Issues to the maintainer

If something isn't right, a photo and a couple of lines: the issue reaches the designated maintainer and stays open until it's resolved.

  4. 04

    Your report is already done

For any period you have the list of checks carried out, with date, time, point and operator, in PDF or Excel.

Your inspection log, always up to date

In Italy, DPR 151/2011 requires checks and maintenance of fire safety equipment to be recorded in a log, and the September 2021 decrees govern periodic checks and surveillance. With ePatrol every visit is logged with date, time, point and operator, and issues stay on record until they're resolved: the period's summary is ready to view or export whenever you need it.

ePatrol works alongside the people in charge of surveillance and the qualified maintainer, helping them keep everything in order.

  3. Confirm and sendBefore sending you see the summary: points read, not reached, still to do.
  4. It stays in the historyYou'll find it under “Sent patrols” and, within the time allowed, you can reopen and correct it.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need a guard tour reader or a dedicated device?

No. All you need is an iPhone or an NFC-enabled Android smartphone, personal or company-issued. The recommended NFC tags (NTAG213, 215 or 216) are affordable and take minutes to fit.

Does it work in plant rooms and basements with no signal?

Yes. The app logs checks even offline and sends them on its own as soon as the signal returns.

Can I use it to document fire safety surveillance?

Yes. Every check is logged with date, time, point, operator and any photos, and the period's summary can be exported in PDF or Excel for your inspection log.

Shall we see together how it can help you?

We'll show you ePatrol on your own sites and patrols, with no commitment.
