How we handle the data of applicants

Version 2026-10 of 18 October 2026

This notice concerns people who apply as fire safety operators from the “Work in fire safety” page of the ePatrol website (Article 13 of EU Regulation 2016/679, GDPR). This English text is a translation; the Italian version prevails.

Who the controller is

Revolution di Alessandro Fantarella, Ragusa (Italy), VAT no. IT01777460880, which develops and runs ePatrol. For any question: [email protected].

What data we collect

What you write in the form: first name, last name, email, phone number, the areas where you want to work (city, region, country and radius in km), certificates and licences, languages spoken, availability, years of experience, the date from which you are available and the message you choose to leave.

Together with your consent we keep the date, the IP address from which you sent the application and the version of this notice.

We do not ask for photos, date of birth, a CV or other documents. Please do not write health data, opinions or other special categories of data in the message.

Why, and on what legal basis

To make your application available to companies that use ePatrol and are looking for fire safety staff, so that they can offer you a job. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time by deleting your application.

To send you the emails about your application: confirmation of your address, contact requests from companies, the reminder before it expires.

Who sees your data

Administrators of companies that use ePatrol see your first name and the initial of your last name, your areas, certificates, languages, availability, experience and message. They do not see your email or phone number.

A company can ask to contact you: you receive an email with its name and you decide. If you accept, only that company also sees your full name, email and phone number, and from then on it handles them as an independent controller, under its own privacy notice.

Revolution staff who run the platform see the whole application, to check that it is not fake or improper.

Data is stored on servers in the European Union. To send emails and to search places on the map (OpenStreetMap) we use technical providers: OpenStreetMap only receives the searched text, from our server, not your IP address.

How long

An unconfirmed application is deleted automatically after 7 days. A confirmed application stays visible for 12 months: one month before it expires we write to you so you can renew it; if you do not, we delete it with all its data and contact requests when it expires.

You can delete it yourself at any time from the personal link you receive by email: deletion is immediate.

Your rights

You can view, correct and delete your data from your personal link, or by writing to [email protected]. You also have the other rights under Articles 15–22 GDPR (restriction, portability, objection) and you can lodge a complaint with the Italian data protection authority (www.garanteprivacy.it) or the authority of your country.

Applying is optional and free. We do not take automated decisions about you: companies decide whether to contact you.
